1.) Trimble Tomcats (7-1, 7-0) | Last rank: 1 | Next opponent: @ Alexander

Justice Jenkins eclipsed Trimble’s all-time rushing record of 4,586 yards in week six and is one pace to eclipse 5,000 career rushing yards. As for Jenkins’s team, Trimble needs either a week 10 win against Federal Hocking or a Belpre loss over the next two weeks to secure an outright TVC-Hocking crown.

The Tomcats are likely to top Federal Hocking, making playoff positioning their top priority moving forward.

2.) Belpre Golden Eagles (6-2, 5-1) | Last rank: 2 | Next opponent: @ Eastern

The Golden Eagles are riding six-game win streak which has yielded some lopsided wins. Belpre won five of the six games by at least 32 points with the other game being a crucial 27-20 win over Miller. That win over Miller all but secured the Golden Eagles a trip to the playoffs, they occupy the fourth spot in D-VII, region 25, barring two consecutive losses down the stretch.

3.) Miller Falcons (6-2, 4-2) | Last rank: 3 | Next opponent: @ Wahama

Kody McKiniss picked up 117 yards and scored thrice before suffering an ankle inury in the second quarter during Miller’s blowout win against Federal Hocking, but Miller will need more excellence from a healthier McKiniss moving forward. Miller’s loss to Belpre reduced its breathing room in the region 25 playoff race, the Falcons sit in seventh, making the next two must-wins in order to hold onto a playoff spot.

4.) Waterford Wildcats (4-4, 3-3) | Last rank: T-4 | Next opponent: Vs. Federal Hocking

Waterford kept its postseason hopes alive after rallying to beat Southern on Friday. The Wildcats occupy the 10th spot in region 25, sitting behind Symmes Valley and Fisher Catholic for the final playoff spot.

5.) South Gallia Rebels (4-4, 3-3) | Last rank: 7 | Next opponent: Vs. Southern

The Rebels have amassed a two-game winning streak and hold a slim shot at the postseason, holding the 12th spot in region 25 behind Waterford and Buckeye Trail.

6.) Southern Tornadoes (3-5, 2-4) | Last rank: T-4 | Next opponent: @ South Gallia

Southern conceded a 14-point second half lead to Waterford, extinguishing the team’s already slim playoff chances.

7.) Wahama White Falcons (3-5, 2-5) | Last rank: 6 | Next opponent: Vs. Miller

South Gallia torched Wahama’s defense for over 500 yards of total offense and 54 points, marking a season high in points allowed for the White Falcons.

8.) Eastern (2-6, 2-4) | Last rank: 8 | Next opponent: Vs. Belpre

Eastern is riding a three-game losing streak in which it has lost by a combined score of 146-27, including surrendering 75 points and 563 total yards to Trimble on Friday.

9.) Federal Hocking (0-8, 0-6)| Last rank: 9 | Next opponent: @ Waterford

Federal Hocking allowed Miller to score a touchdown on every one of its possessions.
