State Troopers Investigating Fatal Accident On Route 32
< < Back toUPDATE 5:51 p.m. An Athens man died in a accident on Route 32 in Albany.
The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. Friday on Route 32 at U.S. 50.
According to the Highway Patrol a truck driven by Chester Clay Jr., 69, of McArthur was traveling south on U.S. Route 50 when Clay failed to yield at the intersection of State Route 32.
As a result a car driven by Mohammad Tufail, 76, of Athens collided with Clay's truck. Tufail died at the scene.
Charges against Clay are pending.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal accident on Route 32 in Albany.
According to the patrol's Athens post the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. Friday on Route 32 at U.S. 50. One person was killed in the accident.
Dispatchers say the crash involved a pick up truck and a car.
Accident reconstruction experts were still on the scene as of 11:30 a.m. A full press release is expected later Friday afternoon.
