Winter Weather Advisory In Effect For Saturday
< < Back to winter-weather-advisory-effect-saturdayThe National Weather Service office In Charleston, West Virginia issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and sleet for portions of the region.
The advisory is in effect from Midnight Friday until 7 p.m. Saturday.
NWS Forecasters expect between 1 and 3 inches of accumulating snow and sleet before changing to rain Saturday evening. Temperatures during this time are forecasted to be in the low 30s.
Portions of Northwest Ohio are under a Winter Storm Warning, with snow accumulations forecasted to be between 4 and 7 inches.
The NWS urged caution Friday afternoon, saying accumulating snow and sleet will make driving hazardous on untreated roads.
