One Person Dies In Crash Near Eastern High School

One person has died and at least one other has been injured in an accident on State Route 7 this morning.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says the crash happened about 9:15 a.m.

According to WSAZ, a semi truck and a car were involved in the crash.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says the accident happened about 1 mile south of Eastern High School.

A portion of the road was closed following the accident but re-opened around 12:30 p.m.
