2016 Gladden House Sessions: Water Witches
< < Back to 2016-gladden-house-sessions-water-witchesThis installment of the 2016 Gladden House Sessions features Athens, OH-based Water Witches.
The psychedelic rock trio, made up of members Ethan Bartman, Charlie Touvell and Matt Clouston, was formed when two bands, Feathers and Halcyon, combined, in order to make things easier for their mutual friends and fans. Their influences include Devendra Barnhart, Aphrodite’s Child and The Velvet Underground, which all contribute to their self described “freak-folk” style. Their performances are meant to be shows, and are often described with visual appeal as well as musical appeal. They released their first full length, Feathers, last year.
