< < Back to bohache-pleads-innocent-all-drug-chargesOhio University student Cory Bohache, 21, who was arrested Tuesday on a three-count drug indictment, pleaded innocent to all charges at his arraignment Wednesday in Athens County Common Pleas Court.
Bohache was indicted by an Athens County Grand Jury on one count of trafficking in cocaine, a count of trafficking in marijuana and a count of possession of cocaine.
Bohache is being held in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail on a full $300,000 bond. He's allowed to post 10 percent of the bond.
Bohache’s trial date has been set for May 6, 2014.
He is accused of selling 29.09 grams of cocaine and 14.65 grams of marijuana and had in his possession an additional 27 grams of cocaine, according to Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn.
Bohache could be facing 15 years in prison if convicted, with 11 of those years being a mandatory sentence.
Blackburn has reported to the news media that this is one of the largest cocaine seizures in Athens County history.
An earlier version of the story reported that Bohache's 10 percent bond was denied, but the Athens County Prosecutor's Office emailed to say that their original release was incorrect. Bohache will get the 10 percent bond option.
