Fall Peer House Artist Annual Showcase To Be Hosted By the Bowen House

Artistic development is encouraged and fostered in a welcoming, peer driven environment. This group exhibit explores New Beginnings House and Home Away From Home members’ creative spirit. Distinctive visions are displayed through painting, drawing, sewing and photography to create bold shapes, absorbing detail, and exhilarating color.
Featured are engaging and compelling individual expressions celebrating their creative world. Hopeful longings of inner life are represented in skilled renderings of complex superheroes and primitive, heartening angels. This show also highlights delicately intriguing animals inspired paintings and winsome embroidered fabric art. The artwork featured is spirited, intense, and refreshingly authentic and joyful.
The New Beginnings House in McArthur and Home Away From Home are programs of Integrated Services for Behavioral Health and are funded by the 317 Board of Athens, Hocking & Vinton Counties and the United Way of Hocking County. The exhibit opens on Nov. 4 at the Bowen House, 196 North Market St in Logan at 6 p.m. and will be on display through Nov. 22.
