It was a field day for the Ohio, who dominated in nearly every single event. The Bobcats defeated Duquesne 177-78, and Xavier, 160-97, their biggest win of the season.
The meet kicked off with the 400-yard medley relay, where the A team, consisting of senior Laura Dawson, freshman Claire Mikesell, sophomore Corrin Van Lanen, and freshman Emily Zimcosky took the top spot for the event, finishing with a time of 3:49.88, nearly six seconds ahead of the next team.
This event was followed by the 1000-yard freestyle, which saw two Bobcats finish in the top three. Sophomore Ana Henderson took the top spot with a time of 10:25.34 followed by freshman Mackenzie Caruthers clocking in at 10:37.02.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Zimcosky once again finished in the top spot with a 1:52.60 mark. Senior Josephine Barker and sophomore Emily Davis took second and third, sweeping the event. The Bobcats also swept the top three spots in the 200-yard butterfly, with freshman Annie Gosselin finishing first with a time of 2:06.28, followed by junior Elena Patz and senior Carrie Dukes. The senior later placed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.42. The meet concluded with the 400-yard freestyle where Ohio took first place for the final time that afternoon with a time of 3:30.96.
