Three Arrested For Alleged Coolville Meth Lab

Bernard N. Delancy, 50, Mary Delancy, 50, and Bernard T. Delancy, 25, were all arrested and charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine. The presence of children makes the charge a first-degree felony, according to a news release by the Athens County Sheriff's Office.
A search warrant was executed by the sheriff's office, with the assistance of the Athens Police Department, the Ohio University Police Department, the Nelsonville Police Department and the Athens County Prosecutor's Office.
An alleged meth lab was seized during the search. Consent to search a camper behind the residence was also obtained by the resident of the camper. Investigators found evidence of another alleged meth lab there, the release stated. The resident of the camper was not arrested, according to the release.
Bernard N. and Bernard T. Delancy were both transported to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail, and Mary Delancy was taken to the Washington County Jail, all awaiting pending court appearances. The males are being held on $50,000 bond. Mary Delancy is also being held on bond although the amount was not released.
The case will be presented to an Athens County grand jury, where additional charges will be requested, according to the release.
The Coolville Volunteer Fire Department and Athens County Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene.
