The Athens Bicycle Club is hosting IMBA, an international trail advocacy organization, for a hands-on trail-building school July 15. Participants will learn the techniques and strategies behind designing fun and sustainable trails during the morning classroom session. After lunch (provided) the classroom moves outside to spend the afternoon using trail-building tools to create a new section of trail at Lake Hope State Park. This class is open to all trail enthusiasts, runners, hikers, bikers, nature lovers, etc. Come learn how to build long-lasting accessibility in the great outdoors. (Ages 16 and older.)
