Ohio University Police Investigating Threat Against McDavis

Ohio University Police are investigating a death threat against OU President Roderick McDavis after a photo of the message written on a bathroom stall door was posted to a mobile anonymous photo-sharing application.
The message read, “President McDavis will be shot on 10/20/14.”
The message was written in a lobby bathroom door in Jefferson Hall on East Green. OU Police have removed the entire door. OU Police are reportedly going door to door inside Jefferson Hall.
The photo of the threat was captioned, “WTF.”
Ohio University Police confirmed they are investigating the matter and referred all questions to Chief Andrew Powers. Powers could not be reached for immediate comment.
