Arts/West, Stuart’s Opera House, and the Athens County Foundation are collaborating to present the Southeast Ohio Musical Lending Library Musical Workshop Series, which will kick off on Sunday, February 24 at Arts/West with a fiddling workshop led by renowned musicians Liz and Lynn Shaw. The series aims to make learning a variety of musical styles on a wide swath of musical instruments accessible for everyone. Currently the series has pay-what-you-can workshops scheduled through August, with plans to extend those through the end of the year.
Upcoming workshops range in topic from West African drumming to ukulele to traditional dance calling, and more.
