Speaking with Steve McDonald of Redd Kross

Underground rock giants Redd Kross have just released a new album, Beyond the Door, embarked on their longest tour in decades (playing with (the) Melvins and Toshi Kasai,) and are gearing up for the release of Born Innocent: The Redd Kross Story directed by the Emmy Award-winning Andrew Reich (who might be best known for being the executive producer for NBC’s smash hit Friends).
The tour will bring the legendary band to Columbus’ A&R Music Bar (391 Neil Avenue) on Friday, October 4, and Steve McDonald took some time out of his hectic schedule to talk to WOUB about the forthcoming documentary, the epic tour, and, of course, Shonen Knife.
