Hocking County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Murder-Suicide

LOGAN, Ohio — A domestic violence incident has claimed two lives in Hocking County.
According to the sheriff’s office, Hocking County 911 received a phone call early Monday morning reporting Natalie Nutter, 34, had been abducted by her estranged husband, Kevin Nutter, 34, from a residence on Nutter-Boring Road in Logan.
Deputies engaged in a short pursuit with Kevin along Maysville-Williams Road.
Kevin shot and killed Natalie as soon as he stopped his vehicle and killed himself before the deputies could intervene, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
The couple’s young son was unharmed and is with family members.
