Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly says deputies arrested Travis Older, 28, late Friday afternoon after he crashed following a five-mile chase. Deputies report Older's vehicle was launched into the air over all lanes of traffic on State Route 356 during the chase. Older had an active warrant in Meigs County.
Older told officers he might have a mobile meth lab in his wrecked truck.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification searched the vehicle and found an active, partial mobile meth lab.
Older is charged with fleeing and eluding, production of methamphetamine and possession of chemicals to make meth.
