Brazill Invited to NFL Combine
< < Back to brazill-invited-nfl-combineAfter helping lead the Ohio Bobcats to their first bowl game in school history on December 17th, LaVon Brazill has been invited to the NFL combine, according to Ohio Bobcats Equipment Staff’s twitter account. Brazill’s reception on fourth down set up Ohio’s winning run in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, giving the Bobcats the victory, 24-23.
Brazill’s 2011 season made the records book in other ways as well. Brazill is now tied with Terrence McCrae in Bobcats program history with 19 career touchdown receptions. The redshirt senior is also currently the single-season record holder with 74 catches.
Brazill recorded 1146 receiving yards this season, averaging 15.5 yards per reception and 81.9 yards per game. He had 11 touchdowns for the 2011 campaign and his longest reception was for 78 yards. On the ground, Brazill had 77 yards for the year and finished the season with 1400 all-purpose yards, for an average of 100 per game.
