Mayle upsets incumbent in GOP Commissioners race during Morgan County 2022 primary election
< < Back to ?p=281471MORGAN COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – There was an upset in the Morgan County Commissioners when incumbent Tom Bragg lost to Cecil Mayle in Tuesday’s primary election.
Republican Mayle received 1,275 votes to Bragg’s 996. No petition was filed by a Democratic candidate. Barring a run from a write-in candidate, Mayle is unopposed in November’s General Election.
A .75 Mill Tax Levy for the Morgan County Health Department was struck down by voters, 1,446 to 1,200.
Approved by voters in Chesterhill was a Village of Chesterhill 2 Mill Tax Levy, 35-13.
Per Ohio law, these results are considered unofficial until the final official canvas is completed in three weeks.
