6 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Excursions w/ Dr. Art Cromwell Legends & Legacies: Three Generations of Women Jazz Artists

Saturday (Mar. 23) Excursions will continue its celebration of women in Jazz. Beginning with a focus on late 20th and first quarter 21st century Jazz artists, the program will present a montage of music from legendary artists and the contributions of their legacies.

Included in this retrospective will be a wide variety of artists: woodwind and brass players, drummers, string ensembles, a selection of miscellaneous instrumentalists (organists, vibists, harpists) and voice artists.
