The Rendville Historic Preservation Society, in partnership with the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, invites the public to attend a special headstone rededication ceremony on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Rendville Cemetery, Rendville, Ohio. This ceremony honors the service and sacrifice of local veterans from the Civil War and World War I, with the replacement of headstones for the following United States Colored Troops and World War I Veterans:

Civil War Veterans:

• Pvt. Smith Barnet, Co. F, 16th USCI
• Pvt. Samuel Robinson, BTRY B, 5th USCHA
• Pvt. Thomas Cousins, Co. D, 15th USCI

World War I Veterans:

• Pvt. Raymond Price, Co. I, 813th Pioneer Infantry
• Pvt. Orrin E. Ginn, Co. D, 802nd Pioneer Infantry

This ceremony is a tribute to the bravery and legacy of these soldiers, who served their country with honor. The public is invited to join us in remembering and celebrating their contributions to American history.
