Here are the unofficial results for the 2025 November general election in Belmont County

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — According to unofficial results, 25.4% of registered voters in Belmont County cast ballots in the 2025 November general election.
Voters in St. Clairsville selected Mike Kasper with 140 votes to fill the Ward 4 Council seat. Terra Butler received 111 votes.
Voters in Barnesville Village selected Brad English with 452 votes, Mark Lewis with 451 votes, Leslie Tickhill with 232 votes and Tony Johnson with 219 votes to fill Village Council seats. Tim McKelvey received 194 votes.
Voters in Bethesda Village selected Ruth Saffell with 139 votes, Jay Van Horn with 134 votes, Shirley Lucas with 127 votes and Carol Ann Merritt with 112 votes to fill Village Council seats. Cynthia Foose received 88 votes.
Voters in Shadyside Village selected Mike Meintel with 676 votes to serve as mayor. John Ferrelli received 253 votes.
Voters in Shadyside Village selected John Longwell with 665 votes, Melanie Haswell with 586 votes, Brandon Parr with 498 votes, Robert Gorrell with 463 votes, Lisa Duvall with 387 votes and Sam Carpino with 329 votes to fill Village Council seats. Dustin Heath received 314 votes and Richard Loew Jr. received 189 votes.
Voters in Yorkville Village selected Robert Zitzelsberger with 53 votes, David Spong with 46 votes, Doug DelVecchio with 46 votes and Cindy Norman with 44 votes to fill Village Council seats. Bill Reasbeck received 20 votes.
Voters in Flushing Township selected Rickey Withrow with 219 votes and Scott Roush with 202 votes to serve as trustees. Chad Moore received 72 votes and Cody Lippert received 46 votes.
Voters in Kirkwood Township selected Alexander Schafer with 42 votes and Kevin Arigoni with 37 votes to serve as trustees. Gregory Fritter received 28 votes.
Voters in Mead Township selected Paul Merryman with 845 votes and Clyde Hammond with 760 votes to serve as trustees. David Albright Jr. received 602 votes.
Voters in Richland Township selected Rick Ferrell with 1,334 votes and Jim DeNoble with 1,242 votes to serve as trustees. Jay Stephens received 951 votes.
Voters in Smith Township selected Michael DeLaney with 226 votes and Ronald Duvall with 211 votes to serve as trustees. Chad Blake received 199 votes.
Voters in Somerset Township selected Dale Betts with 202 votes and Matthew Cook with 143 votes to serve as trustees. John Blattler received 115 votes.
Voters in Wayne Township selected Cecil Kinney with 135 votes and Rick Hagan with 92 votes to serve as trustees. William Davis received 70 votes.
Voters in Wheeling Township selected Shane Kuntz with 202 votes and Steve Vcelka with 184 votes to serve as trustees. Michael Drake received 180 votes and Michael Androsko received 151 votes.
Voters in York Township selected Lance Baker with 256 votes and John Lysien with 195 votes to serve as trustees. Ronald Graham received 105 votes and Robert Graham received 86 votes.
Voters served by the Bellaire Local School District selected Jim LaRoche with 803 votes, Susie Rataiczak with 728 votes and Jim Thoburn with 622 votes to fill school board seats. Michael Wallace received 377 votes.
Voters served by the Shadyside Local School District selected Michael Derosa with 686 votes and Joel Traylor with 671 votes to fill school board seats. Shannan Hildebrand received 571 votes.
Voters served by the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District selected Ken Phillips with 232 votes and Steve Jorris with 182 votes to fill school board seats. Anthony McDaniel received 138 votes.
Voters in Belmont County approved a proposed 10 year 1.25 mills renewal levy for mental health services with 56% casting ballots in favor.
Voters in Belmont Village rejected a proposed continuing 3 mills replacement levy for police services with 69% casting ballots against.
Voters in Flushing Township rejected a proposed 5 year 2.5 mills additional levy for fire protection with 64% casting ballots against.
Voters in Goshen Township approved a proposed 5 year 0.5 mills renewal levy for fire protection with 60% casting ballots in favor.
