Fracking Panel Discussion From November 2, 2011
< < Back to fracking-panel-discussion-november-2-2011A panel discussion on fracking was presented on November 2, 2011, by the Ohio University Institute for Applied and Professional Ethics (IAPE), with support from the OU Environmental Studies Program. The Director of the IAPE, Alyssa Bernstein, hosted the panel discussion.
Panelsists were: Elizabeth Paranhos, Consulting Attorney with the Environmental Defense Fund and Environmental Law Consultant at deLoneLaw, Inc. (in Boulder, Colorado), Dina Lopez, Ohio University Professor who specializes in environmental geology, contaminant geochemistry, and transport processes in groundwater, Ariaster Chimeli, also an Ohio University Professor with research areas that include environmental economics, climate, development, and the economics of energy, and Democratic State e Representative Debbie Phillips.
