Athens Fraternal Order Of Police Negotiate Raise
< < Back to athens-fraternal-order-police-negotiate-raiseAthens Law Director Pat Lang says police officers are getting a 7.5 percent pay raise under a new contract he negotiated with their union.
The raise is spread out over three years, the duration of the agreement, which is pending approval by Athens City Council.
Lang says the contract also includes changes to the insurance provisions "under which employees will pick up a fixed percentage of the premium costs — 25 percent."
The officers are represented by the Fraternal Order of Police.
