Ohio TCA Approves Job Creation Projects In Lawrence And Licking Counties

Lawrence County's Intermountain Electronics, Inc. expects to create 25 full-time jobs. The TCA approved a 40 percent, five year Job Creation Tax Credit for the company to add a location in the Village of South Point where workers will design, engineer, manufacture and service custom electrical distribution and control equipment for mining, power generation, oil and gas, renewable energy, water/wastewater, refineries, tunneling, utilities and federal, state and local governments.
Licking County's Technical Rubber Company, Inc. will create 29 full-time positions, generating $900,000 in additional payroll as a result of the company's expansion project in the Village of Johnstown. The company, which offers tire repair and wheel service solutions, was approved by the TCA for 35 percent, six year Job Creation Tax Credit.
The TCA also approved 10 additional projects that will create more than 1,500 jobs across the state and retain nearly 2,000. Gov. John Kasich's office says the projects are estimated to result in a total of $76.1 million in new payroll and more than $328 million in new capital investment.
