Missing Lancaster Boy Returns Home
< < Back to missing-lancaster-boy-returns-homeA 10-year-old boy from Lancaster has been reunited with his parents after going missing on Tuesday.
Greg Seesholtz, a lieutenant at the Lancaster Police Department, says Cornelius Graves disappeared from the River Valley Highlands shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol supplied a helicopter to search the surrounding area and neighbors received phone calls with the boy's description.
Lancaster resident Sara Richards spotted the boy outside of the Fox Family Y and recognized him from television reports.
Seesholtz says Richards drove Graves to a nearby officer at a traffic stop at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
He says this was not the first time the boy had run away from home.
