Folk Alley Radio Show Comes to WOUB-FM

Folk Alley radio features folk, traditional, Americana, Celtic, singer/songwriter, world and acoustic music. It was launched in September 2003 and is produced by WKSU-FM in Kent, Ohio.
Folk Alley host Jim Blum collects the best in traditional and contemporary folk, Americana and roots music from the latest releases, classics, exclusive Folk Alley in-studio and live concert recordings.
WOUB’s Director of Radio Rusty Smith says Folk Alley will fit perfectly during Sunday programming. “I think this is a very well produced, acoustic music series that WOUB listeners will enjoy.”
Sunday’s programming line-up offers a plethora of different types of music including celtic music series “Thistle and Shamrock” at 10 a.m. and D-28+5, a show that features bluegrass that is featured by community hosts Deanna and Ivan Tribe, Ron Vigue, Pete Hart and WOUB’s Rusty Smith, from 1 – 5 p.m.
