Four Counties Left To Receive AEP Power Restoration
< < Back to four-counties-left-receive-aep-power-restorationThe number of American Electric Power customers in Ohio still without power following a late June storm is dwindling, though crews are still working in four counties.
According to the power company's map, Athens, Muskingum, Licking and Franklin all still have outages.
Muskingum County reports nearly 400 customers still without power.
Athens County has 167 customers that still need their electricity turned back on.
And Licking County, one of the hardest hit by the severe weather, has 228 still in the dark.
The severe round of storms on June 29 and again on July 4 and 5 caused the lights to turn out for approximately 660,000 AEP power customers.
The AEP restoration map shows customers in Southeast Ohio can possibly expect power again by midnight Wednesday at the latest.
