Romney Blasts Obama
< < Back to ?p=6146Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has delivered a harsh indictment of President Barack Obama's re-election strategy, accusing the president of running, in Romney's words, a "campaign of division and anger and hate."
Romney appeared Tuesday night before a crowd of thousands standing outside the Ross County Court House in Chillicothe, Ohio.
The former Massachusetts governor says that Obama's campaign strategy is to smash America apart and then, in his words, "cobble together 51 percent of the pieces."
Romney says that if an American president wins that way, "we all lose."
Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt says that Romney's comments seem "unhinged."
The formal speech served as the finale for a swing-state bus tour that started Saturday in Virginia with Romney's announcement of running mate Paul Ryan.
