Ohio Women’s Basketball Adds Five to Staff

The program added five new members to the coaching staff. Patricia Charity, Elaine Powell, and Jeffrey Powell will serve as assistant coaches. Jessica Loding has been has been named the new Director of Basketball Operations and Monique Perez will be the team's graduate assistant.
Charity comes from fellow MAC school, Buffalo, where she served as an assistant. She has been coaching since 1982 and has held both assistant and head coaching positions at Western Michigan.
Elaine Powell has plenty of basketball experience after playing for Louisiana State and in the WNBA. Since 2008, she has been an assistant coach at Grambling State University.
Jeffrey Marshall has held a variety of positions in the world of basketball, including many coaching positions as well as a site coordinator for annual postseason Women's National Invitational Tournament.
Jessica Loding is native to the sports industry. Her most recent position was at TBC Sports Inc. in Holt, Michigan but she has also worked for Basketball Traveler's Inc. and Michigan State University.
Monique Perez is familiar with the Athens and surrounding areas. She is a Columbus native, an Ohio University alumna, and has spent the last three years coaching basketball at Hillard Darby High School in central Ohio.
The new faces will join Randall in her fifth year as leader of the Ohio women's basketball team.
