Scioto Co. Man Found Guilty In Burning Truck Murder

According to Scioto County prosecutor Mark Kuhn, Raymond Linkous was found guilty on two counts of aggravated murder, murder, aggravated arson, arson, three counts of tampering with evidence, kidnapping and conspiracy to aggravated murder in the death of 24-year-old Felipe Lopez of Friendship, Ohio.
Sheriff's deputies and firefighters in March found Lopez's body in a truck engulfed in flames.
Detectives say Lopez had been stabbed repeatedly and beaten with a hatchet before being burned in the truck.
The prosecution says Linkous had bought cocaine from Lopez and was attempting to buy more at the time of the murder.
Two more suspects are awaiting trial for their alleged roles in Lopez's death.
