Mistrial Declared For Former Noble Co. Teacher
< < Back to mistrial-declared-former-noble-co-teacherA mistrial for a Noble County teacher accused of inappropriately touching students means he will be retried next month.
Steven Wentworth, of Pleasant City, a former Shenandoah Middle School teacher, is charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of gross sexual imposition and sexual imposition, and is pleading not guilty.
Noble County Clerk of Courts Karen Starr says a lack of people for a full jury is why Wentworth's case was called a mistrial.
Wentworth will be retried on October 30.
Starr also says Wentworth remains out on bond awaiting his new trial.
