< < Back to no-charges-car-surfing-deathA Chillicothe man will not face charges after a car-surfing incident ended in the death of a teenager.
Ross County Prosecutor Matt Schmidt says felony charges will not be filed, however the driver of the car may face a traffic violation.
The man was driving his car outside of Walmart in Chillicothe with 16-year-old Jacob Wolfe was lying on the hood.
Chillicothe Police Sgt. Ron Meyers says Wolfe slid off the car and was either run over or struck by the bumper.
Wolfe was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital where he later died on September 23.
Wolfe was a sophomore at Chillicothe High School and an active member with the Fellowship of Christian Students organization.
