Athens Birth Circle
< < Back to athens-birth-circleOn this edition of Conversations from Studio B, host Jackie Wolf talks with Molly Wales, Laura Post, and Liz Pahl about the Athens Birth Circle.
The Birth Circle is a nonprofit informational support and discussion group that meets at the Athens Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7pm.
“The Birth Circle was founded in 2002 by two moms who realized there was no local forum to discuss birth experiences,” says Wales.
Wolf also talks with Post about the benefits of having a doula (a labor coach) present during labor. Pahl describes the benefit she received from the presence of her doula during labor.
