< < Back to suspects-standoff-may-be-linked-robbery-spreeTwo suspects arrested following an eight hour standoff with Guernsey County authorities in Cambridge on Tuesday may be involved in more than just the early morning robbery of a Franklin Avenue resident.
Cambridge Police officers, Guernsey County Sheriff's deputies, and Troopers from the State Highway Patrol arrested the two men after members of the Cambridge SWAT team entered a home on Garfield Avenue and took the suspects into custody.
Charges are pending against a 21-year-old Cambridge man and a 20-year-old Salesville man for the alleged robbery on Tuesday.
Detectives with the Cambridge Police and the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office are also looking into links the pair may have to armed robberies at Cambridge News and Booze on Monday, Byesville Circle K on Friday, and the East Wheeling Avenue Speedway on Thursday.
Both men remain in custody in the Guernsey County Jail on a felony hold. Charges against the par are expected to be filed late Wednesday or on Thursday.
