Election officials in Ohio so far report no problems with voting today as the fall campaign finally draws to a close.

The race between President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney appears headed to a photo finish in Ohio and across the country — with a chance the race in Ohio could come down to provisional ballots.

Polls opened at 6:30 a.m. and in many places people arrived early to wait in line to cast ballots.

Elementary school teacher Matt Wieczorek is a Republican but says he voted for Obama this morning — feeling the Democrat is a better choice to keep education and the economy moving forward.

Also in Cincinnati, independent voter Lawrence Geiger says he voted for Romney over "family issues."

Polls will close in Ohio at 7:30 p.m.

Turnout is expected to be crucial, with Obama looking for big totals from northeastern Ohio and the state's largest cities, and Romney hoping for blowouts in the suburbs and rural towns.
