Brown, Altdoerffer Named to All-Region Team
< < Back to brown-altdoerffer-named-all-region-teamOhio Field Hockey's Taylor Brown and Cathryn Altdoerffer were recognized as All-Region athletes by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Thursday. The honor caps each athlete's senior seaon and puts a stamp on two brilliant careers.
Brown is now a three-time Second Team All-West Region selection by the NFHCA. The senior led Ohio in several offensive statistical categories this season with 30 points on eleven goals and eight assists. Brown is also a three-time All-MAC First Team selection. She sits third all-time in career goals scored for Ohio (42) and fourth in career points (99).
Altdoerffer's NFHCA All-Region selection is the first of her career. She contributed nine points on two goals and five assists this season for the Bobcats, and eight of those nine points came in conference play. The senior is also three-time All-MAC selection, receiving First Team All-MAC honors in each of the past two seasons. In her careeras a Bobcat, Altdoerffer has scored 54 points.
