Retired Police Detective Indicted For Bank Robbery

A Guernsey County grand jury charged David Hirst, 49 with aggravated robbery and inducing panic.
According to Guernsey County Prosecutor Daniel Padden, Hirst handed a note demanding cash to a teller at a U.S. Bank branch in Cambridge on November 1st, then fled with $60,000.
Police say he was armed with two handguns when he was arrested in an adjacent parking lot.
Hirst remains in custody in the Guernsey County Jail on $1 million bond.
