Troopers Find Cocaine And Cash During Traffic Stop

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said they stopped a 2006 Ford Mustang on 13th Street in Portsmouth at 3:05 a.m. Thursday for a moving violation.
The driver, Lennon L. Brown, 29, of Portsmouth, was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence.
During a search, a baggie containing 24 individual baggies of crack cocaine was found inside his pants pocket.
Troopers said the contraband has a combined street value of approximately $2,600.
Troopers also seized $2,710 in cash.
Brown was charged with possession of cocaine and trafficking cocaine, both are felonies of the first degree.
Brown is now in the Scioto County Jail.
