Caldwell Woman Found Less Than A Mile From Car
< < Back to caldwell-woman-found-less-mile-carFamily and friends are mourning a young southeast Ohio woman who apparently died while trying to walk to a friend's house after a weekend car crash.
The Noble County Sheriff's Office said 21-year-old Sarah Langley apparently died of exposure to the cold while trying walking "through very rugged terrain" after a crash Saturday near Caldwell.
There was no evidence of foul play.
A deputy responded to a single-car accident Saturday and found a vehicle registered to Langley, who lived in Caldwell.
But the deputy couldn't locate her.
Her body was discovered Sunday about three-fourths of a mile from the crash site.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
The investigation continues.
