ABOUT THE CLASS In this workshop, the instructor will present a three-part class; from blank canvas to finished painting, with emphasis on individual concept and techniques. Each participant will bring one item (i.e., candlestick, fruit, bottle, etc.) for a still life on a table. All other supplies will be provided to complete your new masterpiece! INSTRUCTOR Kevinn Pelham Drake Kevinn currently lives in Athens, Ohio and has lived in many states. He studied Fine Arts at Purchase College SUNY specializing in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, and Printmaking. Kevinn has produced two large outdoor murals as well as two indoor murals, one of which can be viewed locally at Donkey Coffee in Athens, Ohio. His work can also be viewed on album covers! Kevinn has a diverse art career and enjoys educating others. Intro To Flamework – Ladybug

ABOUT THE CLASS In this workshop participants will learn the basics of flameworking. This class will cover how to form a glass ladybug. Your project will cool overnight and can be picked up as early as the next day. Ages 15 and up are welcome! INSTRUCTOR Sabrina Suman Sabrina has been inspired by art ever since she was a child. She has always wanted to find ways to combine art with science and has gravitated towards mediums where chemical reactions transform a piece of work. Sabrina studied Chemistry at Ohio University, and has attended several courses through the Hocking College Art & Marketing Program. She is currently a manager at a local glass blowing studio and gallery; the Jack Pine Studio. Sabrina is happiest and fueled when working with glass and ceramics. ABOUT THE CLASS In this class, students will be instructed how to make soap dishes by slab. Participants will be taught how to use the slab roller to create a workable surface to mold for a soap dish! The instructor will supply an array of fun patterned underglaze transfers to use and do a short demo as well. INSTRUCTOR Grace Gribble Grace grew up in Southeast Ohio. She has a B.A. in Studio Art and a Master's in Arts Administration. Fun Fact: Grace is obsessed with plants and got her minor in Plant and Environmental Biology!
