The 2nd Annual Near Eastside Neighborhood Athens (NENA) Porchfest is happening on Sunday May 18, 2025. This is a FREE community event where a variety of musical acts perform live on neighborhood porches, builds community, showcases local musicians and bands. This year it will feature 40 Athens local bands/musicians playing on Near Eastside Neighborhood porches and at The Village Bakery/Athens Impact Investing, Kiser’s Barbeque, Bobcat Bikes, Athens Hot Glass, Kindred Market, and Jackie O’s Taproom.

The schedule is as follows:

11:00 Soft Opening with Rabble Rouzer at The Village Bakery/Athens Impact InvestingNoon-1:00 PM: Kick off show at Kiser’s Barbeque with the Stimson ChickensNoon-7:00 PM: Porch performances and performances at local businesses throughout the Near Eastside Neighborhood, including:  Caitlin Kraus Trio, Rylee Bapst, Chris Michael and the Andrews, Drawknife, Micah Kesselring, Mill Creek Mile, The Tailwinds, Ted Harris Quartet, Fine Business, Steve Zarate, Bernie Nau Quintet, and many more. 6:00 PM: Finale at Jackie O’s Taproom with DANA, The Laughing Chimes, & Natural Sway
