We have some bittersweet news to share: After 22 wonderful years, Paper Circle will be sunsetting.

As we prepare to close, we’re offering a special farewell sale: Buy two full-size sheets of handmade paper, get one free! And the best part? The more you buy, the more you get free — buy 4, get 2 free; buy 6, get 3 free, and so on.

We still have a gorgeous selection of paper in stock, including our hemp, unbleached abaca, and cotton sheets. All handmade and perfect for printmaking, book arts, and other creative projects. This is your last chance to stock up on these beautiful papers while supplies last.

Please note: we’re no longer taking special orders or custom color requests. If a specific color is unavailable, we’ll substitute it with the closest available option.

Our Nelsonville shop will close permanently on June 30th, 2025. We will not be making any more paper — just selling what remains in stock.

While this chapter is ending, we’re excited about what’s ahead. We’re currently collaborating with the Don E. Adleta TypeShop and Bindery at Ohio University to help develop the PAPER PRINT BOOK Experiential Museum, coming soon to Athens, Ohio. Stay tuned for more details!
