Athens, Ohio – ARTS/West will present the musical Fun Home, taking place at ARTS/West the first two weekends of June and featuring members of the Athens community and Ohio University students in its cast and crew. Athens’ very own Dayton Edward Willison takes the helm as the director of this show.
ARTS/West is proud to debut its first show that it has officially produced: the musical Fun Home, Alison Bechdel’s memoir set to music, where she comes to terms with her complicated relationship with her dad. It’s a riveting coming-of-age and coming-out story. The city of Athens is sponsoring this musical in honor of Pride Month.
