The Athens County 4-H Committee is hosting a benefit spaghetti dinner in conjunction with the 2016 Athens County 4-H Awards ceremony on Saturday, November 5, at Christ Community Wesleyan Church. The spaghetti dinner will begin at 6 p.m., with the awards program to start at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from this event will go to support scholarships for next year’s 4-H camp. The dinner is $5 in advance and $8 at the door. If you’d like to purchase dinner tickets in advance, please just stop by the Athens County Extension Office by Thursday, October 27. Dinner will include spaghetti, bread, salad, dessert, and a drink—a very yummy, nutritious meal that’s less expensive than what you’d likely spend at McDonald’s and definitely for a very good cause!!   This is your chance to meet the new County 4-H Educator while supporting and honoring our 4-H youth for all their hard work this year!
