The Brass Band of the Tri-State, under the direction of Dr. Michael Stroeher, will present its annual fall concert in the Ohio University Southern Riffe Center Mains Rotunda on Tuesday, October 23, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. There will be a free-will offering with proceeds going to the purchase of new music.

The ensemble performs traditional brass band music from England and North America, original pieces arranged specifically for the band, musicals, marches, orchestral transcriptions, Salvation Army Band music, and popular selections. The Brass Band of the Tri-State is a proud member of the prestigious North American Brass Band Association.

Next Tuesday’s concert includes The Music of George Gershwin, Anglian Dances, “El Capitan” March, and Armed Forces Salute.
