“Cabaret” by Masteroff Kander and Ebb

Aspiring novelist Clifford Bradshaw arrives in Berlin in the early 1930s with chronic writer’s block. While taking in the sights at the decadent Kit Kat Klub, he meets Sally Bowles. They fall madly in love and spend far too much time party hopping before various romantic and sexual complications arise. This classic musical packs a wallop with its terrifying look at totalitarianism.
