Join us on September 11, 2021 for a free community event, From Old Savannah to Tablertown, celebrating the history of People of Color in Athens County. In the morning, we’ll have basket weaving with Talcon Quinn in Savannah Park (Guysville) and in the afternoon David Butcher will be telling the history of Tablertown with the People of Color exhibit on display in the Kilvert Church. We’ll wrap up the day with music of Tommy Parsons with Heartbreak Ridge (6 pm) and Steve Free (7 pm) in the Stewart Community Park.
