GAP Safety Training

Join Rural Action and OSU extension for a day of farm-food safety training that also counts toward GAP certification. Topics include:
- Water Quality
- Worker Training, Health & Hygiene
- Manure and Compost Handling
- Domestic and Wild Animals
The OSU Extension GAP training is one way to satisfy the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule requirements for ongoing food safety training. Participants will receive certificate of training. Please note, attending the OSU GAPs class does not equate to being “GAPS Certified” or fulfill the FSMA 7-hour training requirement. The class gives you the skills and knowledge to reduce on-farm food safety risks.
