Alphonso Gaskins is a retired educator and legal professional. He has worked as an elementary public school teacher and administrator, public interest lawyer, Associate Professor of Law, African law school Dean, and Senior United Nations Justice Institutions Development professional. He has lived and worked in the Republic of Kenya, the Palestinian Gaza and West Bank Territories, The Republic of Somalia, and Republic of the Sudan. He lived for nearly twenty-two years outside of the United States prior to retiring and returning to Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming, Ohio in 2016.
