Rhett Matheny will share the “History of the Stone, now Stone-Matheny Funeral Home in Chesterhill, Ohio”.  This history dates back to 1941 when Don E Stone bought the funeral home and residence of George Fawcett.  During the years Don’s wife, Mary and their daughter, Susan both attended school, served apprenticeships and became licensed funeral directors.  Rhett is Susan’s son, grandson of Don E. Stone.

Rhett Matheny was born in 1968 and is a graduate of Morgan High School.  He is also a graduate of the Ohio State University and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.  He is continuing the history with the Stone-Matheny Funeral and Crematory in Chesterhill.  He also opened the Matheny Funeral Home in McConnellsville.
