OhioHealth UpBEAT Food for Thought: Foods That Promote Optimal Brain Health

Join us as Barbara Nakanishi, RDN, LD, CDCES reviews foods that promote optimal brain health from the MIND DIET (2015) and The 30-Day Alzheimer’s Solution (2021).  The 30-Day Alzheimer’s Solution by Dean and Ayesha Sherzai, both MDs, offers a 5-pronged approach to improving cognitive health, and overall health. The nutrition prong encourages eating nine foods every day. Barbara will summarize the 30-Day Alzheimer’s Solution and provide meal ideas and tips to help increase intake of these nine foods. RSVP is required for joining program in-person. Virtual attendance is also available. UpBEAT (Be Educated and Active Together) is a program for those 55 years and over. Membership is free.
